Node-H develops a complete software solution for 3G Femtocells. Femtocell manufacturers have the flexibility to add their own code to their products, but can go to market with a minimum of effort.
The video below shows the lastest demonstration of Node-H's industry-leading femtocell performance.
Node-H Shows 24 Calls
Node-H has developed portable and platform independent software that implements the RNC part of a 3GPP-standards based Iu-h collapsed architecture Femtocell base station. Node-H software is interoperable with leading femtocell network infrastructure, as well as addressing ancilliary features required to enter production like secure boot and software update. At the same time Node-H's customers have the flexibility to modify source code on the device in order to add their own intellectual property, and address directly the needs of their customers.
Node-H software runs on the chipset vendors' Femtocell platforms which allow Femtocell and Residential Gateway/Integrated Access Device vendors a quick entry to the Femtocell market with a cost-competitive solution.
Node-H femtocell software has shown the fastest data rates and greatest number of users on a standard silicon platform, the Percello PRC 6600.
Node-H has the following key differentiators:
- Node-H's femtocell software is a complete integrated solution that was designed from the ground up for maximum performance in a resource-constrained femtocell environment.
- Node-H's test strategy incorporates a unique system test capability which minimizes regression. Our customers benefit from this through more reliable software, speedier development of new features, and access to our core network and femtocell gateway simulator as part of our development tool set.
The Node-H team has extensive experience in the area of GSM and UMTS technologies. This experience has mostly been on the handset side where cost, performance and footprint are critical factors for success. Hundreds of millions of handsets are in use today built around system and protocol software created by the Node-H core team. The disciplines required in the consumer handset market are the same ones required to make cost competitive Femtocells that work with limited power and memory and tight performance constraints, whilst achieving headline grabbing performance stats.
